Method #1: Reset Windows Sockets

Once everything is ready, the first thing you will have to do is access the Windows Registry Editor. To do that, press the key combination Winkey + R and type the command: regedit. Finally, press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

This will open the Registry Editor of your operating system. Once here, you must navigate to the following path through the folders:

Once you have located the folder or directory WinSock, in the tree on the left side of the window of the registry editor, you must right click with the mouse on that folder to select the Export option in the drop-down menu.

If you are going to connect to the Internet by cable, you should right click on the Ethernet adapter, and if you do it with Wi-Fi, you must click with the right mouse button on the Wireless adapter.

In both cases, you must select the Properties option from the drop-down menu. Once the small window is already open, you must click on the Install button, which will open a small window in which you will have to select Protocol for row followed by clicking on the Add button. This will take you to a new window with the name: Select the network protocol

However, in your case, what you will do is click on the Have Disk button.

This, in turn, will open the Install from Disk window in which we will have to enter: C:\Windows\inf in the section Copy manufacturer’s files from. To do this, you can also use the Browse button. Finally, click on OK.
